Security and data handling
WebRevenue Scan is run by Aman Thakran, trading as WebRevenue Scan. This page explains, in plain terms, how the service protects the details you give us and the reports we prepare. Our privacy notice sets out your rights.
Where your data is kept
- Scan requests, reports and our anonymous visit records are stored in a database run by Cloudflare, our hosting provider.
- Requests and reports are deleted automatically 90 days after the request.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare: hosting, database, spam protection (Turnstile) and access control for our dashboard.
- Resend: sending emails about your scan, and our internal alerts.
- Google (Gmail): our own inbox, where request alerts arrive.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads: only if you choose “Allow optional measurement”; never sent your name, email or website.
How it is protected
- Every page and API is served over HTTPS only.
- Our private dashboard is protected by Cloudflare Access and a second, independent check that only our one approved email address can sign in.
- Private report links contain a long random code (256 bits) that cannot be guessed. Report pages are never indexed by search engines and never pass their address to other websites.
- The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile and rate limits. To apply rate limits we keep only a short-lived scrambled (hashed) version of the connection’s address, never the address itself.
- No third-party scripts run unless you allow optional measurement, and none ever run on report pages.
- Every email we send you has a one-click link to stop further emails.
The automatic scan
Our own server visits the website address you give us, as an ordinary visitor would, and checks the homepage, its contact page and a sample of its links. No other company is involved in that check. If you compare with a competitor, only that competitor’s public homepage is read, and nothing about it is stored.
